As a side note, I very nearly didn’t list the ping damage cards such as Poison Wave and Ammonia Clouds. Cards that ping damage across the board struggle against bigger creatures, and in particular are rarely effective against Sanctum’s big ol’ armorwads. I’ve left them in for a specific reason- often, a deck will have them but won’t have a more potent boardwipe like Coward’s End or Gateway to Dis, and since it’s possible these cards will accomplish the task in a pinch, I chose to list them in the hopes that you, my lovely viewer, would be less inclined to write off a deck because they were weak in this category. Just be aware that nothing in this world will save your hide like a well-timed Gateway.
